strolling

We had a great time on Thursday meeting up with the Russells for some canal walking fun! Ry had only been to the canal once before, and that was over a year ago with Uncle Tom and Papaw, and I wore him in my Babyhawk the whole time since he was barely walking. So this was quite an adventure for him! Check out Jenni's blog, too, for some more pictures!

Best buds checking out the water.

"Mama, I running!"

Still amazed we got all 5 of them to sit still for some pics...I'll follow Jenni's lead and post the progression. Not sure what came over Ryan! :-)

Ahh..young love. What 2.5-year-old gets a girlfriend this hot?! :-) Little brother is standing nearby to protect his big sister - love it!

Leah and Kaden jumping like frogs (poor Kaden took a nose dive). :-(

What? Is that a genuine smile while looking at the camera? Unheard of!

Lovely Leah in the flowers.

And some action shots! I've GOT to remember to switch to the action setting on my camera!

the last of the layouts

So much for getting 30 layouts done in 4 days! I ended up using ArtsCow's standard templates and backgrounds for the majority of the pages in my photo book. But it's documenting the memories that counts, right? Here are the last of the layouts I managed to do before my free photobook credits expired - very simple, but things I wanted to be sure Ryan knew about later on. I can't wait to see how the book turns out!

a few more layouts

Okay, I am totally loving the free photo books from artscow because it means I'm actually getting around to scrapping some important memories! :-) Here are a few more - this time from Ryan's birthday and from Easter.

some layouts

I promise I will try to post some new pics by the end of the week - I have the next 2 days off from work, so hopefully I can do some posting in between loads of laundry. :-) In the meantime, I scrapbooked! Okay, so they are just digital layouts, but it still counts, right? I'm trying to pull together some layouts to have printed up in an 8x8 book from ArtsCow (see logo to right for a great deal!). I have 2 out of 30 pages done so far - yikes! Enjoy!
